If you don't like the templates provided by the blogger then you can add a new template from some external sites. There are many sites that provide free templates for blogger, some of these are www.btemplates.com, www.skincorner.com, www.deluxetemplates.net etc .So, now you can download any template of your choice and then add it to your blog in some simple steps given below :

Step 3: Now select the "Backup/Restore" section, you can find it on the top right corner of your dashboard in Template section.
Step 4: Now a small window will pop up asking you to download your previous template and uploading the newer one. Ensure that u have backed up your old template in case you decide to use it again. For this click the " Download Full Template" tab and save the file to your PC/laptop.
Step 5: Now click on the "Browse" tab and upload your new template by clicking the "Upload tab" and you have done.
Step1: Download the template that is generally a XML file. And if the template is contained in a zip file then unzip the file folder using any application like winrar or winzip. Ensure that you have extracted the XML template.

Step 2: Login to your Blogger Account in dashboard section select "Template".
Step 3: Now select the "Backup/Restore" section, you can find it on the top right corner of your dashboard in Template section.
