Alexa is generally a website which shows rankings of the websites / blogs. Alexa is a sister site of Amazon. Alexa doesn't only shows your website/ traffic ranking but it provides several other features like World Ranking, Your local country rank, Page views per visit, Bounce rate of your website/blog , Traffic sources, Sub-domains , Top search queries, Demographics , On how many sites your blog is linked etc.I have heard many people saying that having an Alexa widget on your site improves your ranking and also website rank also helps the visitors to rely on your site. So why don't you try it, its a cool widget i am also using this widget on some of my blogs .

How to add this widget to your blog ?
You can add this widget to your blog in few simple steps :
- Step 1: Visit Alexa Widget Page.
- Step 2: Now , Enter your blog/website URL as described below and click on "Build widget Tab".

- Step 3: Then, you are taken to a new page having HTML codes , select any of the code ( it depends on you which widget you want to add to your blog) and copy it.

- Step 4: Now log in to your Blogger Account.
- Step 5: Go to Dashboard >> Layout >> Add a gadget.
- Step 6: Now on clicking "Add a gadget" a window will pop up then select HTML/ JAVASCRIPT by scrolling down.
- Step 7: Then again a window will pop up , paste the code in it as described below and then "Save" it and you are done.
