How To Remove Attribution From Blogger ?

Attribution is a gadget that is used by the blogger to show that they are hosting the blog. You can generally find this gadget at the footer section of your blogger blogs, this gadget shows some text like " Powered by Blogger" linking your blog to blogger's homepage . We do not have any problem when it is in footer section but when we download some template from external sites and the template shows it on header section or in sidebar then it sometimes annoys you.

So now in this tutorial i am going to show you how to remove this gadget in following simple steps:

Note: You can remove this gadget from your blog if you don't like it but it is better to give credit to blogger for hosting your blog by adding a "Powered by Blogger" link in the footer section of your blog.

• Log in to your Blogger Account.
• Then go to Dashboard >> Template >> Edit HTML.

• Now click on "Jump To Widget" tab and select "Attribution1" from the list as shown in screenshots or you can directly search this code:

• Now replace the "true" in above code with "false".
• And save your template.
• Now go to Layout then select Edit Attribution gadget as mentioned in screenshots.

• click the "Remove" tab and you are done.
