If your website is loading slow or it is taking more time than regular then its time to fix it by analyzing your website speed and finding out the issues which are causing/ may cause delay in loading. Webmasters always try to focus on each and every issue regarding their websites to enhance the user experience. Few days back i installed a script on my website that was creating delay in load time. I always try to make my site better and user friendly, so, that was the issue that was hurting me and therefore i decided to find out a service that can analyze my website for speed and issues regarding it.

While searching for the free services that can analyze my site i came to know about a service which is offered by Google, so that webmasters can fix their websites to provide better user experience to their website visitors. This service by Google not only analyzes your website for speed but also guides you and provides the various solutions to fix your issues. It shows separate analysis report for mobile traffic and desktop traffic, so, you can fix issues for both traffic in one go. It also provide some advanced tools that you can use to better analyze and fix your site. The advanced tools are little difficult to understand for normal users but their basic tools are enough to maintain your site.

Below i am providing step by step procedure to check the speed of your website.
  • Go to Google Developers Speed Analysis Page.
  • Under Page-Speed click on Analysis then select Insights from the list.
  • Then enter your website URL or any specific page URL and click on Analyze Tab.
  • Now you can see the speed score for both desktop and mobile devices.
  • Also, you can see the errors and solutions to fix them.
