5 Best Sites To Compress Images Online

In blogging we always try to upload high quality images to our blogs so that we can make them attractive but at the same time we want our images to be smaller in size so that they do not affect our website/blog speed. A website with heavy images loads slowly and as a result, it ruins the user experience. In my earlier days of blogging i did not focus on image optimization but by the time i came to know the importance of image optimization and therefore i started optimizing images for my website to make it fast loading and to enhance the user experience. So, from then i always compress images before uploading them to my blogs. I use some sites which provide image compression and optimization tools that today i am going to share with you.

These sites provide effective tools to compress images. Their tools use advanced algorithm that maintains a balance between optimization and lossy compression so that they reduce the images to smallest possible size while maintaining the required level of quality at the same time.

So, below are some best sites on which you can compress your images:

TinyPNG/TinyJPG:

TinyPNG/TinyJPG is a great site where you can compress your PNG and JPEG files. TinyPNG uses smart lossy compression techniques to reduce the file size. It basically decreases the number of colors in the images to reduce their size. The resulting compressed image is almost same as the original image but the difference in file size is huge. TinyPNG's advanced lossy compression technique also preserves the full alpha transparency for PNG files. It also provide its plugin for WordPress users.

Compressor:

Compressor is another great site that you can use to compress and optimize your image with up to 90% of file size reduction. Compressor also offers a powerful tool to drastically reduce the file size whilst maintaining a high quality image with almost no difference in image before and after compression. Compressor supports 4 different file formats, which are PNG, JPEG, GIF, and SVG. Another thing that makes it different from other online compression tools/sites is that it offers two types of compressions - one is lossless compression, which almost preserves the quality and transparency of images, and other is lossy compression, which also preserves quality and transparency but the compression is mainly focused on higher reduction of file size.

Optimizilla:

Optimizilla is another great online image optimizer where you can compress your images while preserving quality of images. Optimizilla is specially designed and developed for web developers and publishers so that they can better optimize images for their sites or projects. It provides full control over image compression. You can select the number of colors to reduce the file size and to maintain the quality. It provides a slider through which you can maintain the quality of your images. It only supports PNG and JPEG file formats.

CompressPNG/CompressJPEG:

CompressPNG and CompressJPEG are sister sites of Optimizilla. These sites are also good in compressing images as well as in maintaining quality of images but they do not provide full control like Optimizilla. You can simply upload files on CompressPNG or CompressJPEG and it will provide you a compressed image with preserved image quality.

Smushit:

Smushit is an image optimization service by Yahoo. Smushit uses optimization techniques to remove unnecessary bytes from the image files. Smushit is a lossless tool, which means it optimizes the images without changing their look or visual quality. Since it is mainly focused on preserving the quality of images so it does not reduce much file size as compared to lossy compression tools. But, you can use it if you don't want to loose quality of your images.

Why Webmasters/SEO Blogs Rank High In Alexa ?

We always discuss about ways to improve Alexa rank of our blogs/websites but have you ever noticed that why webmasters/SEO blogs rank high in Alexa rankings even if they receive lesser traffic than any other blog, website which receives more traffic. This is the question that many people ask because Alexa rank is a factor that many advertisers see before advertising on any website and also many ad networks require a good Alexa rank to approve a website to use their network.

We may or may not consider Alexa rank as an important factor for our blogs, website but the thing is it is somewhat important because many people around the web give it some importance. High ranking in Alexa could gain interest of the users and people will enter your blogs, website with more confidence if they see that your blog/website has high Alexa Rank. To know more about the importance of Alexa rank, you can follow the below link:
Alexa rank sometimes disappoint some blog and website owners because their blogs, websites rank low in Alexa while other blogs, websites which have lesser traffic have high Alexa rank. So, in this case Alexa ranks becomes a controversial issue but i would say, it will not create any controversy if you know how Alexa works actually. So, to better understand this lets first discuss about the working of Alexa and how it decides rank of a blog/website.

How Alexa Decide The Rank Of A Blog/Website ?

Actually Alexa considers various factors to decide rank of a blog/website such as website traffic, number of page-views, time spent on different web pages, unique visitors, back links, visitors location, age group, domain level that is whether it is a top level domain or sub domain etc. and on the basis of past three months data it decides the rank of blog/website.

But besides all these factors the most important thing that many people forget to tell about Alexa is that to decide the rank of a website/blog, the blog/website must be visited by a web browser that have Alexa toolbar installed in it. That means Alexa only counts those visitors that have Alexa toolbar installed in their browser. Now i think you have got your answer if not then continue reading.

Why Webmasters/SEO Blogs Rank High In Alexa ?

Webmasters/SEO blogs rank high in Alexa because they are visited mostly by the visitors who are looking for SEO tips, gadgets, blogging tips etc and most of them know about Alexa. And therefore they have already installed Alexa toolbar in their browsers. In short their blogs/websites are mostly visited by the professional traffic because of their blogs/website niche. So if your blog/website doesn't rank good in alexa even after having good traffic then this may be the reason behind it. However, if you want to improve your blog/website then you can follow the below links:

How To Get Visitors Engaged In Your Blog/Website?

Engaging visitors in your blog is an effective strategy to increase the number of page views of your blog/website. Generally visitors comes to your blog with a motive to get something by searching some keyword on search engines or else if your blog is well known then they could directly come to your blog for fulfilling their motive and after their motive is completed they leave your blog. So this is the thing on which we have to work on, because effective page views can help your blog to grow in various fields such as rankings, earnings, gaining the interest of visitors etc.

If your blog/website is getting high traffic but number of page views is not enough then your blog's bounce rate will increase and also you are loosing your blog's ranking as well as some money that some extra page views can generate for you. So in this article i will suggest you some ways that can help you to engage your visitors in your blog.

Below are the following things that you can consider to engage your visitors in your blog:

Create Attractive Titles For Articles:

This is the main thing on which you have to focus because an attractive title not only increases the number of page views but also increases the number of visitors on your blog/website. An attractive title always gets the visitors attention whether it is shown in your blog's related posts section, popular posts section or within an article as a link but it also gets the visitors attention on search results too. This is the most important thing, so always try to create attractive titles for your articles.

Build Confidence Of Visitors On Your Blog:

You can build a healthy relationship as well as build the confidence of the  visitors on your blog by writing researched article. Researched articles are important because when a visitor search a specific keyword on search engines then he/she gets the various results so to make your blog different from other blogs try to write some researched articles so that visitors can understand that this is the blog where we can get the quality content and once they start believing in your blog then they first come to your blog rather than going to the search engines. In this way you will get a direct visitor plus your page views will also increase.

Interlinking:

This another very important step in the process, Interlink your article with one another. Try to give 4-5 links in an article but make sure they must help the visitor. Just giving any link which is not related to your content is not going to solve your problem. Effective interlinking not only increases the number of page views of your blog but it also helps in decreasing the Bounce rate of your blog. So if you don't know what bounce rate is then you can read this short article:
If your blog has low bounce rate then your blog will rank high in search engine results as well as in Alexa ranking. So try to provide best and most suitable links in your article.

Tell Your Visitors About Recommended Content On Your Blog/website ?

Nobody know your blog better than you, you know the best articles of your blog. So always try to tell your visitors about the recommended content on your blog. You can do this by adding a text "Also Read" or you can also use "Recommended Articles" to show the recommended contents on your blog. And if your post titles are attractive then visitors will definitely see some of your articles and this will reduce the bounce rate of your blog. So never hesitate to tell your visitors about recommended contents on your blog/website. Also if you are running a website which is providing some tools then you can recommend your visitors to use other attractive tools by quoting recommended tools, use our new tool etc.

Place Related Posts, Recent Posts and Popular Posts widget on your blog:

Always try to place at least any one of the above mentioned widgets because all three has their own importance and if possible try to use all three widgets because they can increase the number of page views by a huge margin. But the thing you need to consider is that always try to place attractive widgets that can get the visitors attention and do not harm your blog. I am saying this because some related posts widget providers site, gives you widgets that soaks your link juice. Most of the people don't know about this so let me tell you in brief.

Some Related Post Provider sites like Linkwithin.com and Outbrain.com provide related posts widget for free but their widgets soaks the link juice. After placing their widget on your website/blog, you can see the related posts but whenever a visitor clicks on a related posts link then their widgets first redirects the visitors to their website just for a fraction of second and the again back to the destination page. Also they show their logo that you are using their widgets plus they do not offer more designs and customization. So try to avoid such widgets. So if you want a related posts widget that has various unique designs and doesn't soaks your link juice then you can read the below article where i have described which related posts widget to use for your blog/ website. Basically i have written that article for bloggers but the site that i have described in that article also provides widgets for various other platforms like Wordpress, Tumbler etc and provides JavaScript file for other platforms. So check out the below article for a fantastic related posts widget.
Also if you don't want to loose much space of your blog then you can use on of the best recent posts widget on your blog. This widget doesn't take much space and shows the recent posts of your blog. Basically this is a news ticker that you can place above your posts to show the recent article. So you can give it a try too:

Hide Some Articles, Widgets, Plugins, Tools:

Not getting it from the heading so let me explain you, human are very curious to know the hidden things. In practical life you have seen that people are keep searching for new things, try to search the hidden things whether it is in field of science, art etc. Likewise if you hide some of your article or tool behind your links like : we have used this widget to solve our issue, or you can read this article to find out the solution etc. then this will generate the curiosity among to the visitors to know what is hidden behind that link and as a result you will get some additional page views.

    Place A Site Search Tool:

Always place a site search tool in your blogs so that if a visitor doesn't gets the content in categories then he/she can search the site for the required content. This is also important because i have seen many visitors who do not bother to look at your categories or menu bar instead they use the search bar to search the required content so it a must have tool for your blog.

    Reply On Comments:

Try to reply on users comment, this is not only important to develop a healthy relation with your visitors but also to increase number of page views. You can increase the number of page views by solving out the visitors problem by giving the links in comments section that can solve their problems. In this way you can get some additional page views.

How To Index Webpages Faster To Google ?

Whenever we create a blog/website or a new blog post we want it to be indexed on Google as well as on other search engines as soon as possible. Although our posts and pages get indexed on Google in just one or two days but if you want them to be indexed as fast as possible then you can do it now by using a service provided by Google named as Google Webmaster Tools. Google webmaster tools is a free service provided by Google to webmasters so that they can maintain their blogs, websites.

Mainly Google webmaster tools allows the webmasters to monitor the indexing status of their websites and helps them to maintain their site's presence on Google search results. It also provide additional facilities which helps you to analyze your site for any errors.

Since Google webmasters tools has lots of features so discussing about each and every feature in single post is difficult. So here we only discuss about the crawling and indexing because we just want to index our webpages as soon as possible. So in this tutorial i will show you - How you can create a Google webmaster tools account, How to add a website to Google Webmaster tools, How to verify website ownership in Google Webmaster Tools, How to submit a sitemap in Google webmaster tools and How to index each and every webpage using Google webmaster Tools. So the first thing is creating a Google webmaster tools account.

How to create a Google webmaster tools account ?

Creating a Google webmaster tools account is as simple as creating a Google's account. However if you already have a Google account or if you are using Blogger as platform for your blog then you don't need to create a new account.

But if you don't have a Google account then first you sign up for Google Webmaster Tools.
Now i consider you have created a Google Webmaster Tools account, so our next step is adding and verifying our website.

How to add a website to Google Webmaster Tools ?

    • Log in to your Google Webmaster Tools Account.
    • After log in to your GWT account you can see the red color ADD A SITE tab on the right side of your homepage as shown in screenshots below.
    • Click on ADD A SITE tab and enter the URL of your website.
    • Then click on Continue tab.
    • If you have a blogger blog that is your domain is not a top level domain and its extension is .blogspot.com and you have logged in to Google Webmasters account with same Google account that you are using for blogger then you are not required to verify your domain. It will automatically get verified. But if you have a top level domain then you have to verify your ownership of the domain.

How to verify your ownership of website/domain in Google Webmaster Tools ?

Verifying your ownership of the domain/website is quiet easy in Google webmaster tools as it provides various methods to do it.

Basically it will give you two different methods one is Recommended Method and other is Alternate methods as shown in screenshots.

How to verify your website ownership using Recommended method in Google Webmaster Tools?

    • In this method simply you have to login to your domain name provider's site like Godaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost, Hostgator etc.
    • Then My Account >> Manage Domains and select the domain that you have to verify.
    • Then go to All Host Records.
    • Insert the @ character into the hostname tab under Subdomain settings in All Host Records.
    • Then in IP Address/URL field enter copy and paste the code given by Google as shown in screenshots.
    • In record type select TXT record from the drop down list.
    • Then click on Save Changes tab.
    • Now again come back to Google webmaster tools verification page and click on Verify tab.
    • This will verify your ownership of the domain/website.

How to verify your website ownership using Alternate method in Google Webmaster Tools ?

In Alternate methods, Google webmaster tools provide you four different methods to verify your website ownership.
    • HTML file upload.
    • HTML tag.
    • Google Analytics.
    • Google Tag Manager.
Since Google Webmaster Tools has already described these methods, so i don't think there is a need to describe it here again. These methods are quiet easy so you can select any one of them to verify your website ownership.

Now as we have already created Google webmaster tools account and also verified our website ownership so now its time index our webpages. To index our webpages we have to first submit the sitemap to Google webmaster tools so it can index our pages faster. Also after doing this we can use Fetch as Google feature to index each and every webpage of our website. So first we discuss about sitemap:

I think this post is getting lengthy so please click on the below links for the remaining tutorial:

How To Copy Content From Right Click Disabled Blogs / Websites

Copying others content or simply plagiarism is not a good thing to do. It is always considered as unethical because owner of the post/article writes his/her article by giving his valuable time and effort. Although i do not recommend people to copy others content but still i am creating this post because people not always copy others blogs content for their own blog but there are many other reasons for doing this, such as students of various schools and colleges copy content for their projects that they have to submit to get good marks. Similarly different people have different reasons to copy a post/article. So i am creating this post for those needy people who try to copy content for legal purpose.

In this tutorial i will show you a different approach to copy the content that you will not find on other blogs. This method is little lengthy but works for every website that has enabled script for protecting their content. So if you have tried other methods and are still not able to copy the content then you are at the right place. However if you want some other simple steps to copy the content from right click disabled websites then you can read this article that i have created for you:

Simple methods to copy content from right click disabled websites.

Since i am running this blog for around one year and i have seen many people asking me this question " How to copy the content of a post or article when right click is disabled by the post admin?". Personally many people have asked me this question because i also have a blog in which i have enabled a script that doesn't let people to copy the content from the blog. So in a month around 4 to 5 people ask me for allowing them to copy the content and they give different reasons for that. Mainly those people are school and college students and that is why i have decided to help them out.

Copying content when right click is disabled is not a very hard thing to do. It is a very simple process but takes your some time. But as we know that for getting something we have to do some hard work. So now i have already discussed very much about copying content, without wasting your much time lets start the tutorial.

Just a minute, before starting the actual tutorial i would like to give you an overview of what we are going to do. So for copying an article from right click disabled blog/website first we take the snapshot of the post/article that is we take the photo, image or screenshot of the article that you want to copy and then we extract the written information from that photo using a small software. Don't worry about the software that we are going to use for extracting information. The software is free and relatively small in size hardly about few MBs and also it is very fast in extracting information so it will not take your much time in extracting out the information from the image/photo.

Now lets start the actual tutorial :
    • Open the article(that you want to copy) in your web browser.
    • Now as i have described earlier that we would take a snapshot of that article. So a new question arises.
How to take a snapshot of the article ?
    • Click on [Prt Sc Sys Rq] tab of your keyboard. You can find this tab on the top right of your keyboard or you can see the screenshot given below describing the position of the tab.
    • Now, click on the article. If you are facing any problem in understanding this then simply see the below screenshot.
    • Then open the Paint and press CTRL + V or simply right click your mouse and select paste.
Note: If you are not still facing trouble in taking screenshot then simply take out your mobile from your pocket and take a photo of the page you want to copy.
    • Now you can see the photo of the article in paint.
    • Then remove the extra content that you don't want by cropping the image and then save the image.
After removing the extra content my screenshot look like this.
    • Now you have the image that has the required information.
Next Step: Downloading the software :

Before giving the link of that software i would like to describe you something about this software. Basically this software is an OCR that is Optical Character Recognition. The work of this software is to read the image and extract the written information from the image.

Now you can download this software by clicking this link - Download Free OCR
or you can use this link - Download Free OCR

This software is very small in size so i don't think that you would face any trouble in downloading it.
    • After downloading the software. Simply install it in your PC/ Laptop.
    • Now open the software.
    • Then clear the instructions that are written on the right side of the software as shown in screenshots.
    • Now click on open as shown in screenshots.
    • Then select the image that you have saved in earlier steps and click on open tab as shown in screenshots.
    • Now select the portion of the image from which you want to extract the information as shown in above screenshots.
    • Then click on OCR and select OCR current page from the list or start OCR process.
    • After 2 or 3 seconds you can see the required content on the right side of the software.
    • Copy it and use wherever you want.

8 Things To Consider While Selecting A Template For Your Blog

Template is the backbone of a blog, a good looking professional template can make your blog look attractive and an attractive blog always pulls the visitors attention. So we need to select a proper template for our blogs. Selecting a proper template for a blog is an important thing because if we do not select a good template then it can result in loss of visitors, so today i am going to discuss some points that you need to consider while selecting a template for your blog.

    Purpose of blog:

The first thing that you need to consider is purpose of your blog that is the type of blog you want to create because if you want to create an informative blog then you need a professional looking template and if you want to create a mp3 or musical blog then you need a musical rocking template. The thing that i want to say is that the purpose of a blog decides its theme. So first think about the purpose of your blog before selecting a template.

    Professional look:

Always try to select a template that looks professional that is, it does not contain too many images or it look very colorful. This is applicable for all types of blogs because too many pictures and colors can make your blog look awkward. So select a template that look simple and does not contain too many pictures in background.

    Layout:

There are different types of templates with different layouts that is templates with single or double sidebar, templates with single, double or triple section footer etc. This does not matter much but it depends on you that which type of layout you want for your blog. The templates with more section can give you additional spaces for widgets and advertisements. Generally i use single sidebar and three section footer layout for my blogs. So select a template that best suits your requirements.

    Ads ready:

This is not an important thing for those who don't want to show any ads on their blogs. But in most cases we place ads on our blogs, so if you want to show ads on your blog then select a template that is purposely created for showing ads because if you shows ads on a template that is not suitable for ads then it can affect your blog's design and look.

    Color of template:

This is an important thing to consider because if you write articles then you need a template that can show your articles clearly to your visitors. So always try to select a white color template because in white color templates you can easily read anything but if you select a black color template then there are more possibilities that people may not read your entire article. Also in white color templates you can easily customize your ads which is not always possible in case of black or any other color templates.

    Link Color:

Always check the link color of a template before selecting it because in some templates the link color is almost same as the text color, so it becomes difficult for you and your visitors to find a link in your post. This can affect the number of page-views of your blog. So always keep this small thing in your mind before selecting a template for your blog.

    Related posts widget:

Generally all new templates comes with this feature, so check the template that whether it contains a related posts widget or not. If it is present in the template then it is good for you otherwise you have to install it manually because these widgets can increase your blog's pageviews. If you don't find this feature in your selected template then i recommend you to use nrelate related posts widget because it offers various styles and does not force you to show their link.

    Back to top button:

This is an additional feature that many template designers forget to install in the templates, so check the template that whether it has a back to top button or not. Back to top button provides easy navigation to your blog users, so always choose a template that contains back to top button. But if you don't find this button and even want to use that template then you can easily install it manually.

5 Things To Consider Before Using A Free Blogger Template

As i already mentioned in my previous posts that always give some time for selecting a proper SEO friendly and attractive template for your blog. Besides the posts, templates are the thing that make a blog look professional and attractive. We always try to find best templates for our blogs. There are many template provider sites available all around the web that can give you free templates for your blog and they only require a back-link to their site, they call it a credit link.

So, if you don't want to spend a single dime for purchasing a template then you can download any free template for your blog. But, while selecting these free templates you need to consider few things otherwise they can affect your blog's SEO.

Below i have described some points that you need to consider before using a free Blogger template:

    Credit Link:

A credit link is a link to the template designers' website for giving them credit for their work. Almost all free templates contain a credit link, you can see these links even in the templates provided by Blogger itself. So, giving credit to somebody for his/her work is not a bad thing but in some cases the template designers save their credit links in external files so that nobody can delete these links. But, the problem is some designers protect their credit links in such a way that they affect the sites using their templates.

Below i am mentioning some problems that you can find in these templates and if you find any such case with your template then its time to change your template because it can affect your blog's SEO.
    • Template does not work with Google Translator.
    • On reloading it shows don't remove credit link.
    • In template editor section it shows the template designers website instead of your blog.
Now, one by one i will discuss all the three above mentioned problems and also after that i will describe you some other thing that you also need to consider before using a free template.

Check your template with Google Translator:

To check your website with Google translator, go to Translate.Google.com and enter the URL of your blog and then translate it in any language. If your blog translates in a language that you want then there is no problem. But, if it shows a text like don't remove the credit link or shows a blank page then it means it is not suitable for your audience, who are coming from different countries. An example of such template is Wilderness template by Soratemplates. This template is very beautiful and looks professional but when we use this template and try to translate our blog then it starts showing don't remove credit link. This is the biggest drawback of this template because it is not suitable for our worldwide visitors.

    On reloading:

This is another case where our blog starts showing don't remove credit link. To check for this case just reload your blog and before the reload completes, stop the reloading process in middle. If on stopping the reload it shows your blog then there is no problem and you can use it but if it shows don't remove credit link or other text like that then simply change your template because it is soaking your blog's link juice. An example of such template is JPstation blue template by IVYthemes. This template has many good features but because of this i don't recommend you to use this template, also it doesn't work with Google translator and on translating it starts showing don't remove credit link same as wilderness template.

    Check template designer section:

In Blogger dashboard, go to template designer section and see whether it is showing your blog or the template designer's website. If you find the template designers website instead you blog even for a fraction of second then change your template because it is not good for SEO. But, if it does not show any such behavior then you can use that template without any hesitation. Again you can see this problem in Wilderness template, where it shows the designer's website (soratemplate.com) instead of template users blog.

Some other things that you need to consider:

    Post URL:

Whenever you upload a new template for your blog then first create a post and publish it, just for testing the template. Then see whether the template is generating a neat and clean permalink or it is generating a permalink that contains some additional codes or text. For example: Your posts permalink must need to look like "http://www.bloggenes.com/2013/10/10-easy-ways-to-promote-your-blog-website.html" instead of "http://www.bloggenes.com/2013/10/10-easy-ways-to-promote-your-blog-website.html#.Uf5002q9a".  Although these permalinks work too but if you use Google Webmaster or any other webmaster tool then you can't fetch your posts URLs as a Google bot because it will show error. An example of such template is Cleanblog template by BTDesigner, this template is best for advertisement purposes but it generates permalinks that contain additional codes. So, always try to use a template that creates a clear permalink for posts.

    Check your links:

Yes, check your links too, check whether on clicking a link within your blog you are directly taken to the destination page or not because in some cases i have seen that if we click a link then it first takes us to the template designer's website and then again back to the destination page. The redirection doesn't take much time so check this twice. Also this problem generally occurs in templates that contain related posts widget, so, if you are using any such template then first check your related posts widget links rather than checking any other links on your blog. These related posts widget work like LinkWithin Related posts widget, which redirects a link to their site before sending the visitor to the destination page and hence soaks the link juice of your blog.

Do Blogging Communities Really Help Our Blogs To Grow ?

Do blogging communities really help our blogs to grow ?
As we all know that there are many blogging communities available online today that offer us huge audience for our blogs. But the question arises that whether they really help our blogs or just generate fake traffic like paid to click sites where people just click advertisers link for getting paid but not for reviewing it. Today i am going to discuss some key points that will help you to judge whether they help our blogs to grow or not.

    Variety of Blogging communities:

The first thing that i like about blogging communities is that they are of different types like for specific country, region, culture and some other specific groups like age, sex, etc. so you can select the right audience for your blogs for example: if you have a tech blog then you can join any blogging community where all technical people reviews posts of one another. So they help us to show our content to right audience.

    Reviewing process:

The second thing that i like about blogging communities is their reviewing process. Almost all the blogging communities works on a principle that one person reviews other persons blog and if he/she likes the other persons post then he or she can vote it up or down. This means other members of communities must see your blog post before voting it up or down. Although many people visits your blog just for a fraction of a second but at least twenty percent of visitors actually reviews your blog posts, which can help you in understanding that whether people liking it or not.

Shows your posts on home page:

Generally good blogging communities have large number of members and they receive huge traffic too. Many blogging communities shows the highly voted posts on their home page, so they offer you more visitors for your blog.

This is the best part of blogging communities because if you are a good writer then it increases the chances for you to show your creativity and in creating your own identity. People will give you more priority if you write good articles.

    Create your own network:

It is always better for you if you show the content to people who are looking for it rather than showing it to people who don't need it. As i already mentioned that there are many different kind of blogging communities based on country, religion, sex and other groups. Blogging communities offer you to create your own network like a social networking site but here our motive is different. The other members can help you blog better and if you create some good friends then you can directly ask them for link and traffic exchange. This will definitely help your blog to grow.

    Encourages their members:

Many blogging communities encourages their members by providing them different kind of rankings and titles like best poet, best writer etc. Such kind of activities always help us to blog better. People work hard to become the best out of other members of community and therefore they start thinking about improving their writing skills, so that their audience like their posts. These activities creates a competitive environment among the members and i think competition is needed for an individual to grow in any field.

    They also offer Prizes:

Many blogging communities offer prizes to their members for encouraging them to do better. Its a good thing, if you write a good and attractive article then you will get prize for it. These activities can highly motivate the new bloggers who are not earning any income from their blogs. But the thing that we need to consider is overall improvement as a blogger. So these activities help their members to write good attractive articles and become a good blogger.

    Final words:

In my opinion i think blogging communities are worth taking, they help us and our blogs to grow. But its up to you, now you can decide whether they are worth taking or not.

Guest posts also helps us in building good healthy relationship with other bloggers and hence resulting in many other benefits like link exchange, traffic exchange and also in getting some good tips for improving our blogs. Below are some things that a blogger must need to consider while selecting a blog for guest posting.

The blog must have high Google page rank:

Google page rank defines the quality of a blog or website, Google  assumes that the more important websites are likely to receive more links from other websites. Google gives the page rank from 1 to 10 on the basis of quality baclinks a blog or website has, Google page rank 1 is the lowest rank for a website whereas Google page rank 10 shows the best rank for a website, so always choose a blog that has page rank at least 3 or 4. This will help you in improving your Google page rank too.

The blog must have high Alexa rank:

Alexa rank defines the traffic of a blog or website, the less the Alexa rank the more traffic a blog is receiving. Today Google and Facebook has Alexa rank 1 and 2 and you can see how much traffic they are getting, so always select a blog which has high Alexa rank. This will get you some additional visitors and also help you in improving Alexa rank of your blog or website.

The blog must be a high traffic blog:

Although Alexa rank defines the traffic for a blog or website but you double check the traffic of the blog on which you are going to submit your guest post because there are many fake ways to improve the Alexa rank of a blog or website.

    Check the responsiveness of Admin:

This is also an important thing to consider, always check the responsiveness of the blog owner whose blog you have selected for guest posting. You can do this by checking the comment section or by emailing them asking a query, this will help you to find whether he or she responses to his/her blog visitors. This will help you in faster publishing of your guest post.

Monitor how often he or she publishes a guest post:

Yes, also monitor the blog to see that how often the blog owner publishes a guest post. You can check this by seeing the guest posts section on their blogs. Mainly this step is to check whether the admin is very choosy or easily approves a guest post. So always submit your guest post on high quality blogs that easily approves a guest post. This will prevent you from getting disappointed that no high traffic blog is approving your guest posts.

How To Create An Effective Guest Post ?

How to create an effective guest post ?
Before discussing about the steps to create an effective guest post lets first discuss the term guest post.

"Guest posts are the posts that we do on others blog instead of publishing it on our own blog."

Guest posting is the best way of getting quality backlinks for your blog or website. Once you have created enough posts for your blog then try to promote it by guest posting on other blogs. Guest posts not only give you backlinks but they also shows your online presence. Guest posts helps you to achieve a good Google page rank and also generates some traffic for your blog or website.

Creating a guest post is not a hard thing to do but the problem comes when we submit it to high traffic blogs. The owner of high traffic blogs are very choosy, they select only the best articles to publish on their blogs. So while creating a guest post for high traffic blog, you need to consider various things. In this post i will describe you some effective ways that can help you in creating a good high quality guest post that can be easily approved by the high traffic blogs.

    Read the guidelines carefully:

The first thing you need to consider is reading the guest post guidelines carefully on the blog in which you are going to submit your post. Read each and every guideline and understand for which type of content he/she is looking. After understanding the requirements you can think about posting a content that is suitable for that blog.

    Understand the theme of Blog:

Now the second thing is understanding the theme of blog on which you are going to submit your guest post. You can do this by reading some articles of that blog. By reading the articles you can notice his/her style of writing, which type of image he/she posts, whether he/she uses large or small captions for images, length of the posts etc.

Do some research before creating a guest post:

This is the third thing you need to consider before creating an actual guest post. Before creating a post devote your some time in doing research about the content you are going to write because you have to post something different that is not easily available and which makes you different than other guest posters.

    Create a Unique Post:

Now, after understanding the theme and requirements, you can create a good post with unique content. You can create a unique post by creating a post that is not easily available and is different from other posts available online. Always try to create a guest post that is divided in to small paragraphs with headings, subheadings and sub-subheadings. Also try to create a medium size post with at least 700 to 1500 words and always read your article twice for grammatical errors before submitting it.

Article must be of at least 700 words:

As i already mentioned, always try to post a medium size article which contains at least 700 words. If you post an article with less than 700 words then it would be difficult for your article to be approved by the high traffic blogs.

Provide some good images and graphs with your article:

After creating your post, try to make it look attractive and for this you can use some high quality images, graphs and videos related to your article. Submit these files along with your article so that he/she can understand that you have done some effective research for creating a guest post.

Do not put more than 3 backlinks:

Yes, do not put more than three links in an article and also try that all links are for a single site or blog otherwise they may consider that you are writing for someone or an organization that builds backlinks for their customers.

Write a short and crisp intro about yourself:

Now the last thing write a good, short and crisp introduction about yourself in About Author section and try not to put more than one link in that section until it is offered by the owner of the blog to which you are submitting your guest post.

How To Increase Your Blog's PageViews ?

How to increase your blog's PageViews ?
Not getting much traffic for your blog, No problem, still you can earn much money from your blog. There are many CPM, CPC ad networks available today that pay you for ads impressions and ads clicks, so if you are not getting much traffic from Google or other sources then still you can make an effective income from your blog and the formula is Pageviews. Pageviews are the number of pages viewed by your blog's visitors. An effective number of pageviews can earn you much more money than number of visitors on your site and also it helps you in decreasing the bounce rate of your blog . In this post i will describe you some methods that can help you in increasing your blog's pageviews.

Below are some methods to increase your blog's pageviews :

    Create Attractive Post Titles:

The first and most important thing is creating an attractive post title. Visitors searching for something on Google or other search engines always select the posts with attractive titles for example: a visitor is searching for an subscription box widget on Google and in the results he/she sees two post titles, one is saying "subscription box widget" and other is saying "professional subscription box widget" then there are more chances that he/she will select the second one that is professional subscription box widget even though it is shown below the post saying subscription box widget.

Same condition applies when a visitor enters your blog, if your posts have attractive titles then they can attract readers to click on other posts links on your blog. So it is important for you to create attractive post titles for your blog posts.

Must Place a Related Posts widget:

This is the second most important thing. Having an attractive related posts widget on your blog always attracts the visitors attention towards other posts present on your blog, so if you have an attractive related posts widget on you blog then it can double the chances of pages being clicked by a visitor and hence resulting in increased number of pageviews.

Relate your Posts with one another:

While creating a new post always think about relating it to other posts present on your blog. So if you have linked a post with other post effectively then it will also help you in increasing your blog's pageviews.

Tell your visitors about Recommended Contents on your blog:

Yes, this is also an effective way of increasing the number of pageviews on your blog. You may have seen many blogs in which writers tells their users about their recommended posts by saying that "also read" or "recommended" . So if you have some good posts that you want to show your visitors then simply add these links in between your posts. These recommended content links not only increases your pageviews but also prevents a visitor from leaving your blog, as if a visitor enters your blog and starts reading a post and after some time he/she get bored from that topic then he/she can skip that topic by clicking the recommended content link. If you do not provide recommended links then it can result in loss of a visitor in quick time and high bounce rate for your blog. So always put recommended content links in your blog posts for effective pageviews.

Place Recent and Popular posts widget on your blog:

Recent posts and popular posts widgets show the most recent and popular posts on your blog, so always place at least any one of these widget on your blog. I recommend you placing both these widgets and if they are taking much space then you can use tabs content widget box for placing these widgets.

Always place a Site Search tool on your blog:

Always offer a site search tool to your blog visitors, so that if they are facing difficulty in finding a specific content then they can use this tool. Many visitors use site search to search any content on your blog rather than using your tabs menu and therefore using such a widget is always helpful.

Create an effective Sitemap page for your blog:

Always create an effective sitemap page for your blog, so that your visitors can easily see the internal structure of your blog. Many bloggers skip this step but i personally recommend you to create an effective sitemap page for your blog because visitors leave a site very quickly if they feel little uncomfortable, so always try to provide as much comfort as you can.

    Always Reply on Comments:

yes always try to reply on visitors comments if possible because this builds up a healthy relation among you and your visitors. If you reply on visitors comments than it can increase the chances of returning of a visitor and also it grows up the confidence of visitors in you and your blog and therefore they choose your blog first instead of choosing other blogs. This will result in both increased visitors as well as an increase in number of pageviews.

10 Proven Reasons To Invest In High Quality Website Design

    website design
Here are ten proven reasons to invest in high quality website design for your website or blog if you want to increase consumer traffic and improve brand loyalty.

    Design Can Communicate Quality:

High quality web design can actually communicate quality about the entire website. Your content, images, video files, and individual pages will look better when they are surrounded by high quality design elements. Consumers who recognize that your site employs modern and sophisticated design will assume that you’ve invested an equal amount of time and resources in the function and content of the site.

    Design Enhances Content:

Design can also be used to enhance and complement the content on your site. When a consumer visits your website or blog for the first time, he or she will make a split second decision about the message that your site is communicating. By using high quality design elements that complement or cooperate with your content strategy, you will double the communication effectiveness of your site.

Design can Create a Brand Image:

Using good design elements can also help you to create a solid and reliable brand image in the mind of the consumer. Branding is one of the most important marketing strategies for a business or website. Consumers have clear pictures in their minds of their favorite brands. In fact, studies have shown that consumers often think of their favorite brands in a similar way to how they think of their friends or peers. They will label brands with words such as relevant, trendy, modern, stylish, or sophisticated based solely on the design elements.

    Design Attracts Consumers:

Because design improves branding efforts, it can be used to attract and maintain consumer attention. Getting consumers to a website, and encouraging them to return on a regular basis, is the ultimate goal of every website owner. If you have regular and dependable consumer traffic, you can easily communicate ideas, share information, and even sell products and services to those consumers.

    Design Makes Browsing Simpler:

High quality website design can make browsing on a website much simpler. Have you ever visited a website with such confusing and distracting web design that the navigation panel was difficult to understand? Consumers have little patience for these design errors. If they can’t figure out how to find your blog or home page because of bad design, they’ll likely just navigate away from your website.

Design Can Be Used as a Marketing Technique:

You can use design elements as marketing techniques as long as your website has a high quality, memorable design that stands out in the mind of the consumer. Many website use specific colors, shapes, or other design elements and then mimic these design elements in their advertisements, merchandising efforts, and social media marketing efforts. If your web design or WordPress theme, for example, features colorful circles, you can use those same colorful circles when design print advertisements, making business cards, creating t-shirts and other merchandise, and choosing social media pictures and avatars.

Design Sets a Website Apart from Competitors:

High quality design can also be used as an effective tool for separating your website from the websites of your competitors. Too often, websites within the same industry start to look the same to a consumer. If your website simply mimics other sites, rather than employing innovative design and attractive visual elements, your site may simply be lumped in with the sites of your competitors. The consumer will have trouble understanding why your brand is the one that should be chosen.

    Design can be Easily Updated:

High quality design is also effective because it can be easily updated by the web designer or site manager if such updates are needed. Constantly tweaking and adjusting your website design will keep the site looking fresh and engaging. This encourages consumers to continually check back and see what new elements have been added to your site.

Design Helps Define a Niche Audience:

You can also use high quality design to improve your niche marketing efforts and even define your niche audience. Because marketing to a niche is much more effective than marketing to a large population of consumers, many website use design elements that are specifically attractive to a certain age group, gender, or demographic.

    Design Encourages Social Sharing:

Finally, high quality web design is important because it has been linked to social sharing amongst consumers. Consumers are quite selective about the websites and blogs they are willing to share with their social networks. If a website has incredible content but very poor web design, consumers may think twice about directing members of their network to the site. Because social sharing can be one of the most powerful marketing tools in your arsenal, it’s important to implement good design to give your site the best possible chance of being shared by visitors.
