How To Create A Guest Post Form Using Google Drive / Docs

In my previous article i described you how to create a Facebook badge to socially connect with your audience. So, today i am here with a new tutorial which will show you how to create a Guest post form using Google Drive/Docs and then how to add this form to Blogger. We all know that providing write for us opportunity to our users can increase our users interest on our blogs/websites. Guest posts not only increase the users interest but also provide a different feel to our blogs because different users have different style of writing.

Guest posting is helpful for both the site owner and the guest poster. As a website owner you get some unique and quality content whereas as a guest poster you get an additional back-link and online presence. So, this is very important to attract your website users to write guest posts on your blogs/websites. Every user look for an easy and convenient user interface so its our duty to provide our users some good options to submit their guest posts. You can provide them two options - one is using your email, you can tell your user to directly mail their guest posts to your email and the other option is to provide them an attractive Guest post form, so that, they can easily write and submit their guest post.

Google provides us an opportunity to create forms using Google docs, so, why don't we use this platform to create an effective guest post form. Below are the following steps which will describe you how to create a Guest post form using Google drive/docs:
  • Log in to your Google Acount.
  • Then go to Google Drive.
  • In Google Drive click on the "Create" tab present on the top left side.
  • Then select "Form" as shown in screenshot.

  • Then enter your form title and select your form template.

  • Now, you will be taken to your form page.
  • In your main form page you can create an edit your form, you can add fields in your form using insert tab as shown in screenshots below.

  • After creating your form just click on File (on top left side) and select "Embed".

  • Now, change the width and height of form as per your requirements and copy the code.

How to add Guest post form to blogger ?

  • Log in to your Blogger account.
  • Then open your post/pages wherever you want to add this form.
  • Select new post/page and in your new post/page open HTML section as shown in screenshots.

  • Then paste your copied code and you are done.

How to see the response to your form ?

  • To see the response to your form, select your form and then click on Responses tab at the top of the form.

  • To copy the article use CTRL+C.
