The best thing i like about this traffic monitoring website is that it provides various stylish widgets that you can put on your blog or website. Currently i am using this tool for monitoring my blog traffic and one of its widget you can see on my blogs sidebar, its a television that shows total number of visitors, page views, new visitors etc.
Google Analytics :
Google Analytics is another best tool provided by Google to webmasters for monitoring their website traffic. Google Also provide lots of feature and it also provides you accurate results. Google Analytics is somewhat little difficult than Histats but it is a really good tool for webmasters. For webmasters who are working with Google Adsense as a publisher, to them i would strongly recommend this tool to maximize your revenue. Google Analytics also provides a small piece of code, which you have to put on your blog/website for monitoring your website traffic.
Flag Counter :
Flag Counter is another widget that you can use to monitor your website traffic, for using Flag counter you have to place their Flag Counter Widget on your blog or website and then you can monitor your traffic. As its name suggests it counts the flags of different countries from where visitors visited to your website. It provides four types of widgets:
- Flag Counter or Top countries : It shows flags of top countries from where visitors visited your website.
- Flag Map : This shows a world map using flags to show from where visitors have arrived to your website.
- Mini Counter : If you do not like big widgets then you can choose this widget, it either shows total pageviews or total number of flags visited your website.
- U.S. Flags : It shows U.S flags visited your website.
However, flag counter provide different widgets but it lacks features as compare to Google Analytics and Histats. Flag counter is as effective as Google Analytics and Histats in terms of accuracy. One more thing i would like to say, when you add this flag to your website make sure that you do not forget to enter your email address.

StatCounter :
StatCounter is another website that offers you monitoring tools to monitor your website traffic, i like this site very much because it has various features almost same as Histats and Google Analytics. It is easy to use same as Histats, So any body who don't want to be messed up with any complicated traffic monitoring tool, they should try this. It also provides various types of widgets that you can use on your website, however they do not look cool as Histats widgets.
Feedjit :
Feedjit is another application that you can use to see real time visitors. As their tag line suggest "Know when your friends and clients visit you" , it work same. This traffic monitoring tool is somewhat different from the above, it shows the visitors in real time. It shows the visitors arriving time, Geolocation, operating system, browser, also from which search he/she is arrived. It also require to place its widget on your blog or website to show traffic stats.
