CPA- Cost Per Action

Cost Per Action (CPA) sometimes also known as Cost Per Conversion (CPC) or Pay Per Action (PPA) is a web advertising model in which advertiser pays to its publishers for each specified action i.e. if a specified action is performed by the visitors of a particular site then advertiser pays to its publisher. These actions include any form submission, survey, any purchase from a particular website, complete a transaction, register on a particular website etc.
 
CPA is sometimes also referred to as "Cost Per Acquisition", which has to do with the fact that most CPA offers by advertisers are about acquiring something (typically new customers by making sales).
